mishMASH Monday (even though it's Tuesday) - 1900 Rue St-Cyr - MONTREAL
A few days ago, a reader (thanks K!) from Ontario but who is currently studying in Montreal emailed to ask if I could post more Montreal real estate.
(I think he was also subtly reminding me that I haven't done a mishMASH Monday in a LONG time!)
When he asked that I post more Montreal, I don't think this house is what he had in mind. But another reader (thanks E!) sent this in a while ago and I couln't resist.
This is the Letourneau's house...
And it is pretty amazing!
Here is a picture of it without the snow...
That is a lot of statues!
Inside, the Letourneau's were not only really into red, blue, and gold, they really liked vermiculite (aka 'popcorn ceiling'). It's not only on the ceilings AND walls....
It is also on the kitchen cupboards!
I am not sure how you get up these stairs...
But someone has done it at some point because there are some pretty awesome lamps in that attic! How did they get that dresser up there!?!
And I have NO idea what this thing is in the bathtub...
But it works with the house.
This is a 3 bedroom (again, I have no idea how you get up to the attic), 1 bathroom house on a 39.4 x 108.3 foot lot.
It is listed at $349,000.
Wonder if it comes with the statues.
