AND IT WENT FOR - 111 Glen Road - ROSEDALE

I first posted this 5+1 bedroom, 7 bathroom house on a 68 x 109.17 foot lot at 111 Glen Road in North Rosedale.

It was a great house with what looked like a recent renovation, but the furniture was cold and the location wasn't terrific with the traffic and bus stops out front.

It was listed at $5,055,500.

Considering that the house across the street at 116 Glen Road was listed at $2,685,000 (down from $3,280,000), this price didn't seem crazy.

But 116 Glen Road at $2.7 million?

That house eventually sold for $1,975,000.

So this house at $5+?

I thought it was more of a mid-4s house.

It didn't sell and the price was dropped to $4,855,500.  It still didn't sell again and the price was dropped in January to $4,755,500.

Still too high.

Then...at the end of March, there were 2 listings for this house.  

One at $4,755,500 and another at $4,199,999.

Then 10 days later, the second listing was dropped to $3,800,000.

This house has finally sold...
