the MASH

248 Clinton Street - PALMERSTON

Though I am not loving the front of this 3+1 bedroom, 2 bathroom semi on a 20.08 x 126.58 foot lot at 248 Clinton Street just north of Harbord...

It's a big improvement over the before picture.

And clearly, it's a flip.

At the front door, I was pleasantly surprised.  The house feels large and it's bright.  Then the living room looked great as did the dining room.  And then there was the kitchen.  It's really big and it is really bright...

But wtf!?!

This?

It's not a terrible kitchen by any means, but this is a really large space and this kitchen feels cheap and I am annoyed.

Upstairs, the bedrooms are bright, but there is no storage.  And because that bathroom and laundry took up so much space, the third bedroom is really small.  And I am not loving the bathroom.

I am also not loving the railing and the quarter round being the same colour as the floor.

But this house is a good size, the basement is finished (but with no rental potential), and the backyard is a good size.

And that garage!!!  That is a BIG plus.

But is this crack at the back of the house an issue?

The listing price is $985,000.

If that crack isn't an issue, I think this house will sell closer to $935,000.  That kitchen is just kind of lacking.

Then again, that garage might win a lot people over.

Not to mention that IKEA staging!!!
