54 Dupont Street - DUPONT AND DAVENPORT
This is a 4 bedroom, 4 bathroom, detached house on a 27.08 x 96 foot lot with 1 parking spot at 54 Dupont Street.
So, it's not really Summerhill, it's not really Rathnelly, and it's not really the Annex, but according to the listing, it's the Annex. I am going with Dupont and Davenport.
It's a house that has been completely redone by JCI Architects, the same architects behind the house at 339 North Rumsey in North Leaside that sold for $1,925,000 in January 2013.
As far as the house goes, it's bright, it has amazing doors at the back, and though I like everything about it, even the glass wall on the stairs, there are 2 things I am not crazy about.
I don't love the entrance opening right into the living room like the house in my last post at 104 Kimbark Boulevard in Caribou Park. And as was the case in the house at 98 Gough Avenue in Playter Estates (or whatever you want to call it), there is no door separating the third floor master suite from the second floor.
Kind of awkward.
Oh! And then there is this....
That is the CP Railway....right there.
People are not going to like that.
I suppose if the noise doesn't bother you and you are into trains, this isn't a big deal and I do think there will be enough people who will over look that.
The asking price is $1,795,000.
This will sell fast. And perhaps closer to $1,835,000.
Maybe more.
Especially if they find this guy...
