When I first saw this house in the Beaches, I thought....
What the...!?!
Firstly, the house looks like it belongs in Vancouver and not Toronto.
And this is how you get to the house...
Does this not look like it should be in Vancouver?
It is a 2+1 bedroom, 2 bathroom cottage on a 40 (really!?!) x 136 foot lot.
The listing calls it an 'artists retreat' which is probably exactly who would be interested in this house. Or maybe a retired couple. Or maybe a young couple without kids.
The house sits right on the ravine with a view that made me think of the 3+1 bedroom, 2 bathroom house at 127 Kingswood Road that sold a year ago for $1,350,000.
That house was a lot bigger though and was more of a house than a cottage.
This house was listed at $789,000.
It sold in a week and a half...
For $829,000.
