2186 Courrier Lane - MISSISSAUGA

This is a 4+2 bedroom, 5 bathroom house on a 98.44 x 165.27 foot corner lot at 2186 Courrier Lane in the Gordon Woods neighbourhood of Mississauga.

It's a flip and they did a great job.

Here is a video of what it looked like before...

And it was done by the same people who did the other Mississauga flip at 805 Glenleven Crescent

Here is a rug from that house...

So, not only are they good at flips (though I wasn't crazy about the Glenleven floors), they are REALLY good at staging (or at least have really good staging furniture!).

Like the floors at Glenleven, there are things that I am not loving about this flip, like the bannisters (can't put my finger on it), or the texture of the kitchen cabinets, or the stone around the fireplace, and I am not into the super dark floor in the basement...

But I love the floors upstairs, each bedroom is a good size and all seem to have their own bathroom, the kitchen is large, there is an eat-in table, there is a large family room with a fireplace.  And it all overlooks the pool.

And though I do love the dining room with the black walls, I think I would have put it in the more traditional location beside the kitchen where the living room is and made that space an office.

Otherwise, this house is great...if you want to be in Mississauga.

For a house this size, with 2 garages, a pool, a large yard, and a large living space...

And a price of $1,599,000!!!

Seems like a steal.  But considering that a similarily sized house (though dated) at 2228 Shardawn Mews that overlooked the Mississauga Golf and Country Club (unlike this house that is located one street away) sold for $1,450,000 in the fall of 2012...

This might be a little high.

Then again...it is 2 years later and this is a large house that is completely updated.

Perhaps they should consider throwing in the furniture...
