AND IT WENT FOR - 65 Brookfield Street - BEACONSFIELD VILLAGE

A little over a week ago , I posted this 3 bedroom, 2 bathroom row house on a 16.67 x 125 foot lot at 65 Brookfield Street in Beaconsfield Village.

It was a house with what looks like fairly recently renovated bathrooms, but it was a little tired.  Regardless, it was more than move in ready if you can see the charm of the kitchen, and are okay with the alley.

And it was basically the same house as the house down the street at 49 Brookfield Street before it had a complete redo with a third floor addition.

That renovated house was listed at $1,249,000 in March 2012.   It sold for $1,265,000.

If you were to apply an estimated 10% price increase over that past few years, that house would now be worth $1,581,000.

So, when this house was listed at $749,900, I didn't think it would sell at ask.  I thought it would sell closer to $849,000...perhaps more.

It sold last week...

For $917,700.
