This house is amazing!!!

Other than the kitchen appliances, I don't think anything has been touched in this house in 50 years...

And that's a good thing.

According to the listing, it was designed circa 1960 by architect Gardiner Cowan.  

There isn't a lot out there about the architect, but as a commentor mentioned in the post for 41 Berryman Street...

There was a not so famous 1960s-70s Toronto architect with unique houses dotted all over the old city of Toronto. Gardner Cowan had a very distinctive style and his tag line was 'Less is more'. We can talk about that another time.

This is definitely a less is more home.

It is 3+2 bedrooms, 3 bathroom house on a 90 x 134 foot lot with 3841square feet above ground and 2063 in the lower level.

Unfortunately, I don't think there is a backyard.

The asking price is $1,999,999.

Regardless of the lack of backyard, this will sell fast.

Let's just hope they don't tear it down and build this in its place...

Though that brick is very similar to the brick on this house...
