51 Welland Avenue - MOORE PARK
Two years ago, I posted a house on a 37.5 x 150 foot lot at 51 Welland Avenue in Moore Park.
This is what it looked like...
With a lot that size, when you can put a $3 million house on it, it clearly wasn't staying and I thought it would sell fast.
It was listed at $1,095,000. It sold within a week for $1,251,000.
This past April, after a reader sent in an 'And Here it is Now' shot, my guess was that it would be a June listing...
Perhaps at $2,895,000.
Well, it wasn't June.
This Peter Higgins designed 4+1 bedroom, 5 bathroom house was just listed...
At $3,295,000.
I am not sure why the front hall is as large as it is...
Or why they staged the house with these lamps...
Why there is only one oven...
Or why the back porch steps are seemingly so steep...
But I really like this house.
I am just not sure, with this location on a fairly busy street and the fact that the backyard is no longer very big, that it will sell for full asking.
I am sticking with my April guess of $2,895,000.
