11 Bannon Avenue - KINGSWAY

Earlier today, I posted a price drop for a laneway house at 6A Brockton Avenue in Little Portugal.

It is owned and designed by Elaine Cecconi, co-owner of design firm Cecconi Simone.

In the original post for that house that I did in October, I mentioned Cecconi Simone were also the designers behind a house at 11 Bannon Avenue in the Kingsway that I posted 3 years ago.

Annnd it just came on the market again.

It's a 4+1 bedrooms, 4 bathrooms on a 40 110 foot lot.

I didn't love the outside.  I found it dated.

But that was based on this photo...

I wasn't crazy about the tiled floor throughout, but that was the designer's thing (as can be seen in her own house).   And though I felt like everything else was kind of boring, I did like the kitchen.

As you can see though, the outside of the house looks a lot better in the current shot.

Actually, the whole house does.

It still has all that tile and I don't love the new chairs at the kitchen island.  But they used indoor furniture instead of patio furniture in the family room and though I don't love it, it doesn't look as boring.

In 2011, it was listed at $1,550,000.  I am not sure what it sold for, but it is back on the market...

For $1,795,000.
