Do you remember that semi at 110 Benson Avenue in Hillcrest/Wychwood...

That sold for $980,000 in October 2012?

The one with the amazing light fixtures...

Well, it turns out that it was the home of designer Shirley Meisels, owner of MHouse Inc., and a designer that I mentioned in the July 2013 MASH Newsletter.

Here is a photo of her and her daughter in the Benson kitchen from the February 2010 issue of Chatelaine...

She was also the designer of the house at 33 Tyrell Avenue in Casa Loma...

That was listed in June 2012 for $1,495,000 and sold for $1,570,000.

And it looks like she not only was the designer for this 4+1 bedroom, 5 bathroom house on a 32.33 x 104.33 foot house at 21 Biggar Avenue in Regal Heights...

But she must also be the owner because this is the dining room light fixture...

The art is the same...

It's pretty great.

Actually, the whole house (minus the backyard), is pretty great.

Especially this washroom...

I love this bathroom.

This house was listed for $1,199,000 in September 2012.

Here are a few of the 'Before' photos via Houzz...

So, it doesn't seem like there were a lot of changes in the floor plan, just updating of the space.  And finishing the basement.

And I would have preferred an island in the kitchen, the whol house is great.

It's listed at $1,699,000.

The last house of a similar size that I posted in Regal Heights was the house at 48 Highview Crescent...

Compared to this house, it was really dated.  It sold for $1,422,000.

Could that house be this house with $250,000?  I don't think so.

Which means this house will probably go over asking.

If the narrow row house at 47 Olive Avenue in Seaton Village can sell for $1,101,000....

This will probably sell closer to $1,825,000....more if it weren't for the backyard.
