AND IT WENT FOR - 66 Hallam Street - DOVERCOURT PARK
Last week, I posted this 3 bedroom, 1 bathroom semi on a 16.25 x 65 foot lot at 66 Hallam Street in Dovercourt Park.
As some readers pointed out, the street itself isn't exactly picturesque...
(It does need a tree or 2.)
But this house looked great from the street.
Inside, I wasn't crazy about the floors (maybe they show differently in person), and I couldn't tell if there was much done to the bathroom.
But this was a really good house.
It was listed at $669,000.
Because the basement wasn't done, I thought this house would sell closer to $675,000, but not much more.
Looks like I was wrong.
As per the seller who contacted me after the sale (thanks!), this house sold with 6 offers...
For $740,000.
Looks like a well done house in a hot location was a little more important to some people than the trees.
Nice work.
P.S. If you are curious, the owner also let me know that the floors are acacia (never heard of it) and the bathroom has a new toilet, marble floors, and vanity.
