Last week, I posted this 2+1 bedroom, 2 bathroom row house on a 15 x 90 foot lot  at 114 Shaftesbury Avenue in Summerhill.

It was a house that reminded me of the house I posted a couple weeks earlier at 65 Alcorn Avenue just on the other side of Yonge...

That house was listed at $1,149,000 which I thought was high.  But I did think it could sell close to $1,000,000.

A neighbour and reader thought I was crazy.

Then this place came for sale at $999,000.

Not great news for Alcorn.

But I thought if the house at 30 Shaftesbury Avenue could sell for $945,000 two years ago...

Then this place wasn't so far off.

Until the owner of 30 Shaftesbury reminded me that it sold for $745,000, NOT $945,000.

I had clearly watched this video too many times that morning...

But it looks like I am not so crazy after all.

This house sold in 1 day...

For $1,000,000.
