AND IT WENT FOR - 42 Lakeview Avenue - DUFFERIN GROVE

A couple of weeks ago, I posted this 5+2 bedroom, 4 bathroom house on a 60 x 220 foot lot at 42 Lakeview Avenue in Dufferine Grove.

It was a great, old house that had a good feel on the first floor, a kind of creepy feel on the second floor, and a coach house that was giving me a bit of this...

The house was listed at $2,450,000.

The potential of this house was amazing, but since it sat in the middle of the wide lot, it couldn't be split up (unless they tear it down which would be kind of obnoxious).

Considering that the renovated, move right in house on a similar lot at 250 Rusholme Road...

Sold for $2,250,000 in May 2012...

I wasn't sure this was going to sell for ask.

But it had been 2 years and this place could be amazing.

Thanks to the reader who pointed out that this sold over a week ago...

For $2,400,000.
