61 Lacewood Crescent - DONALDA

This is a 3+1 bedroom (the listing says 4+1, but it's clearly 3+1), 3 bathroom house on a 60 x 111 foot lot at 61 Lacewood Crescent in the Donalda neighbourhood in Don Mills.

If it looks familiar, it's because it was the house that was renovated by Sarah Richardson in season 2 of Sarah's House.

When she bought the house in 2008, the house was listed at $699,900.

Since then, it has been on and off the market.  Here is the price history...

August 2008     $929,900

October 2008     $929,900

September 2009        $895,000

January 2012    $1,099,000

So...it has changed hands a few times.

Here are the shots of the house as Sarah styled it...

And here are some shots in 2010 from one of those times above when it was on the market...

Geesh.

And below are the photos of the house now.

It looks like the current owners have gone back to something a little more similar to the original styling of the house...sort of.

Overall, I like this house.  It's a good house for a young family or a couple.  I would just want to sand down those floors and give them a grey stain...

Or something like that because I don't really get those floors in this house.   For me, they feel too traditional for the house.

But overall, it's good house.

It is listed at $1,188,800.

I think this will sell closer to $1,295,000...maybe $1.325,000.
