AND IT WENT FOR - 155 Warren Road - FOREST HILL

This is a 7 bedroom, 7 bathroom house on a 78 x 174 foot lot at 155 Warren Road in Forest Hill and it is a grand house.

Only thing, there is a LOT of pattern and carpet.....everywhere.  It's even in the bathrooms.  

It is clear that a lot of money was spent on the interior, but it was done a long time ago.

So...unless they found the buyer who was into this look currently, the first asking price that I posted in June 2013 of $6,200,000 wasn't going to happen.

I thought it would sell in the low $5s.

By mid-October 2014, there had been 3 price drops and it was down a fourth time to $5,595,000.   When I posted it in December, I mentioned that it was probably time for another drop.

By March, it had its 5th price drop.

The new price was $5,495,000.  I thought it probably wasn't the last one.

Well, they didn't need to do another drop because they excepted a offer at 94% of list.

This house sold for...

$5,180,000.

So...low $5s.
