AND IT WENT FOR - 17 Berryman Street - YORKVILLE

In February 2013, I posted this house on a 20 x 118 foot lot at 17 Berryman Street in Yorkville that was built in 1888.

This is what it looked like in 2013...

It was a gutter.

And it was listed at $1,079,000.

I thought that if the 'heritage' distinction allowed it be whatever it wanted to be at the back with the front remaining the same...

Then it would probably sell around ask.  It sold for $1,059,000.

By December 2014, it was back on the market as a full rebuild that looked like this...

It was done by a company that had other rendering photos on their website like this...

And no, that photo is not from a Cabana Pool Bar Party...

Or a SIMS Pool Party screen shot.

That is the real rendering from a real website of the real company that rebuilt this house and listed it for $3,298,000.

It was on the market by March as a done project.

And though it was a beautiful house, this was my reaction when I saw the interior...

It's a good new build...

But like this bathroom...

So much of it was not at ALL what I was expecting.

But then again...

This is in one of the building company's renderings...

So....Yeah.

It was on the market for a while.

Officially....82 days.

It has finally sold...

For $3,100,000.

Question is......

What is next for this guy....
