PRICE DROP - 17 Douglas Crescent - GOVERNOR'S BRIDGE
At the beginning of April, I posted this 5+1 bedroom, 4 bathroom house on a 44.7 x 130 foot ravine lot at 17 Douglas Crescent in Governor's Bridge.
The outside reminded me of an office building that I have seen along the QEW or the 401 eastbound, but I can't put my finger on it.
The inside, I kind of liked it. It was built in 1988 by Francesca Scollozi, a 'world renowned architect'. But though the inside is kind of perfect if this is the style of house you are into, there are parts that make it feel a little dated, like the granite.
And maybe the glass brick wall (but I kind of love it)...
And the brass fireplace too...
But the house is kind of great as it is.
It's just wasn't going to be for everyone, but I didn't think it would sit for long.
I just didn't think it would sell quite at the $3,395,000 ask though.
Well, it's been on the market now for over 2 months...
And at the end of April, the price was dropped to $3,195,000.
It has been dropped again...
To $2,995,000.
So...definitely not for everyone.
