mishMASH - 31 High Point Road - MUSKOKA

The first thing that came to mind when I came across this listing for a ridiculous cottage on top of a cliff on northern Lake Joseph in Muskoka...

A cliff with no-eyed, wide mouth monster being 'bitten' by a water dwelling sphinx...

Was....

Who?

Who wants this!?!

This reminds me of the house in Rosedale at 166 Crescent Road that had soo much potential...

And was renovated in a way that wasn't what that house was supposed to be.

I called it a flip, but I suppose it could be called a 'spec'.

Either way, for what it was, that flip/spec was not done as you would expect a property like that to be done.

Just like this cottage.

This is such a grand piece of property and what they have done here is not at all what I would have expected.

Sure, it is super impressive from the water...

And it is kind of a crazy cottage...

But this...

Just reminds me of this...

And what is with the initials of the name of the property being etched into the glass...

Seriously, what is this?

And what is with this fireplace!?!

This is a 7 bedroom, 9 bathroom cottage with 790 feet of waterfront (that appears to have absolutely no waterfront dock space!!!).

It is listed at $10,000,000.

So, for that money, there is a helipad unlike the house at 4411 Escarpment Side Road in Caledon...

But I am not sure if it comes with an underwater Lotus Esprit...

So...

Maybe $8,990,000?
