PRICE DROP - 194 Roxborough Drive - ROSEDALE

When this house called 'Integral House' was listed in April, it was big news.

It is a very unique house that is built down the ravine towards the Evergreen Brickworks.  And if you have ever walked along the path beside the Brickworks, you have probably looked up and seen this house...

And wondered what it looked like inside.

After the owner of  the house, mathematician James Stewartpassed away in December 2014, passed away, his estate, by his request, put the 18,000 square foot, 4 bedroom, 8 bathroom house on a 60 x 401.87 foot lot on the market.

As per the Globe and Mail article written in April when this house was listed...

Mr. Stewart’s executors will give most of the money from the sale of the house to his chosen arts and scientific organizations in the form of endowments and bequest.

But it was a hard sell.

This house was specifially built and completed in 2009 for Stewart.  The design was based on his love for math and music.  It was a totally unique property and one that would only work for a very specific buyer.

And with a price tag of $28,000,000, I didn't think it would sell.  But I did think they would hold on to that price for a little longer.

They haven't.  After 5 months on the market, the price has been dropped.

The new asking price for 'Integral House' is now...

$22,900,000.
