In July, I posted this 6 bedroom, 7 bathroom house on a 75 x 165 foot lot at 230 Russell Hill Road in South Hill.

It's hard to recognize because the picture above looks like the 'Something Wicked This Way Comes' movie poster...

But it is this house...

The house that I posted in September 2013 when the asking price was $4,800,000.

Probably because it is a good house and the backyard is amazing, it sold in 4 days for $5,200,000.

Two years later, it was on the market again.  This time, the asking price was $5,895,000.

I thought the price was a little high.  And it looks like I wasn't alone because this house just had a price drop.

The new asking price is...

$5,749,000.

I still think it's a little high, but not by much.
