At the beginning of June, I posted this 3+1 bedroom, 4 bathroom house on a 44.77 x 110 foot lot at 1 Albemarle Avenue in Riverdale.

It was a nice house on a great lot...

With great wine storage as one reader pointed out...

But it was listed at $2,495,000.

Despite the lot...

And that this was apparently the house of Gord Downie from The Tragically Hip, which seems to be confirmed by these photos of him with Neil Young from the new listing video...

It was still only a 3 bedroom house.  I thought it was too high.

I was thinking it would sell closer to $2.1...maybe $2.2.

It never sold and the price has been dropped.

The new asking price for this house is...

$2,249,000.
