RELISTED - 210 Poplar Plains Road - SOUTH HILL
In January 2013, I posted this 6,600 square foot, 5+1 bedroom, 6 bathroom on a 50 x 135.83 foot lot at 210 Poplar Plains Road with a garage for 4 cars and a driveway for 4 more in South Hill.
It was a rebuild of a house that looked like this...
When it was completely transformed in 2007.
So, this is an 8 year old house, but when it was listed in 2013, it was only 6 years old.
The asking price then was $4,900,000. I thought it was too high.
It had been a Toronto Life Home of the Week in 2010 (though I can't find it) and again in March of 2013. It was also featured in ModTo.com in 2010 which is where the before photos came from.
And most recently, it was the blogTO House of the Week at the end of August...
But none of that media is helping this place sell.
Raising the price in August to $5,188,000 didn't help.
It has now had a price drop.
The new asking price for this house is...
$4,950,000.
Even though there are parts about it that I don't love like the floors and the master bedroom tv stand...
I think it will sell soon.
But maybe somewhere closer to $4,750,000...perhaps a little less.
