SOLD - 50 CHELTENHAM AVENUE - LAWRENCE PARK

When I saw this house yesterday, I really liked the look of it from the outside.

But it was an old Lawrence Park house and not a new build like the one I posted on Monday at 174 Strathgowan Avenue...

So, I thought it would look tired on the inside.

It didn't.  This was a great house.

And it was so nice to see a beautiful, old Lawrence Park home that hadn't been torn down.

I wouldn't say I am into all the furniture in the house, but as it is put together, it's amazing.  The rugs are all awesome, especially the one in the family room...

The dining room paint...

Reminds me of the dining room in the house I posted yesterday at 176 Glen Road in Rosedale...

The kitchen is good, the bedrooms are good, the basement isn't done like the upstairs but it is more than fine (and the family room could use some doors to the living room)...

And the backyard...

I love it.

So, when saw this house yesterday, I was so excited to post it this morning.

But when I woke up, I saw that after only 2 days...

This house had sold.

It was listed at $3,095,000.

It sold...

For $3,200,000.

I think it could have gone up to $3,350,000, but it is still a good price.

But most importantly,  this makes me hopefully that more people will see the charm of these houses and stop tearing them down!

Or is that just wishful thinking?
