25B Northcote Avenue - BEACONSFIELD VILLAGE

Whether you like it or not...

It looks like this 'densification' trend isn't going away.

Because here is another one of those '2 condos in one dwelling' type houses.

You know...

Like the 2 condos at 170A Markham Street and 170 Markham Street...

The condos at 25A and 25b Givins Street...

And the condos at 110 Palmerston Avenue...

All condos done by the same developer that was behind the house at 49 Brookfield Street...

The house with the green couch in the kitchen...

That was also in the dining room at 170A Markham Street...

And in the office at 170 Markham Street...

In this house, the green couch is also in the office.

According to the listing, this is a 3 bedroom, 3 bathroom condo with a detached garage.

It used to look like this...

Like the other condos, the 3rd bedroom is that office, a room that has no windows that open to the outside so it is really a 2+1 condo.

And like the other houses, I really like what they have done, except of all of them, this is my least favourite from the front.  I am not into that orange-y brick, or that flashing stuff (whatever it's called) on the roof.

And the floors aren't my favourite.

But if you are looking for a downtown home, this could be an option.

The listing price is $1,299,000...

Which is the highest asking price to date for these condo.

And considering it is across the street from this FreshCo parking lot...

Like the house beside it at 23 Northcote Avenue...

That sold for $879,000 in June.

It might sit for a while.

Unless people are coming around to this type of home...

And would rather live here and pay $237.50/month instead of owning a fully renovated semi for the same price.
