AND IT WENT FOR - 7 Ava Crescent - FOREST HILL

This house has been listed for a looooong time.

It's a 6 bedroom, 6 bathroom house on a 100 x 113 foot lot at 7 Ava Crescent in Forest Hill.

I first posted it in July 2014, but according to a reader, it had already been listed for some time before that.  I am not exactly sure when it was first listed, but it was at least on the marker since April 2013 when it was the National Post Home of the Week.

According to that article, those pegged oak floors are original from when the house was built in 1930...

And apparently so is the bar that I loved so much...

When it was on the market in April 2013, the asking price was $3,499,000, which is the same asking price from when I posted it in July 2014.

By September 2014, the price had been dropped to $3,339,000.  When I posted that drop in February, I thought maybe it was time for another drop.

In August of this year, the price was dropped to $3,248,000.

It has finally sold...

For $3,000,000.

Wonder if they are going to keep that bar.
