When I posted this 4+1 bedroom, 6 bathroom house on a 50 x 135 foot lot at 165 Ridley Boulevard in the Cricket Club neighbourhood...

The new build that used to look like this...

I mentioned that I didn't like the outside of the new house....AT ALL.

And when I saw the interior photos, I wasn't crazy about it, but it slowly grew on me.  It was....interesting.

When I posted it, it had already been on the market for a little over a month. The asking price was $4,298,000.

Which isn't a crazy price for this neighbourhood these days.

But I wondered if the price could compare to the selling price of the new build at 102 Joicey Boulevard

That sold for $3,850,000.

Considering that this house had 2 less bathrooms and was on a smaller corner lot, I thought it probably couldn't go that high.

Then again, the design choices weren't as crazy...so maybe.

It just sold...

For $4,173,000.
