SOLD - 458 Carlaw Avenue - RIVERDALE
A little over a week ago, a reader sent in the listing for this 3 bedroom, 3 bathroom semi on a 1.58 x 100 foot lot at 458 Carlaw Avenue.
It was listed at $739,000.
After a quick look at the house, I thought it might go over $800,000. It did have Pellegrino after all...
But then I realized the basement wasn't finished...
The stove jutted out of the counter like this...
The third floor looked like it might be a little chilly...
The neighbour's garage was a little imposing...
And it was only 2 doors down from this little strip mall...
Unfortunately, I didn't post it because...
It sold on Wednesday for $734,000...
And on Friday, as you may already know if you have been following the news, this happened (which is why I am posting it today)...
Drake and Rihanna shot a video at The Real Jerk on Friday night...
The same restaurant that is located in the mall I mentioned above that is located 2 doors down from this house...

Would this have increased the price of the house if they had listed it this week instead? Probably not.
But I am sure it caused a lot of excitement on the street last night...
Especially since Sandi was there...
