191 Withrow Avenue - RIVERDALE

In June 2013, I posted

a 3 bedroom, 2 bathroom semi on an 18.76 x 128 foot lot with one parking spot at 191 Withrow Avenue in Riverdale.

According to that listing, it had been featured in

Style at Home magazine.   I guessed that the kitchen was the feature...

It was something about the first aid box and the tomato sauce in the open shelves above the subway tile and stainless steel counter.

The rest of the house was good, but not necessarily magazine worthy.

It was listed at $775,700.

It didn't sell and

in January 2014, the price was dropped to $729,700.  By February, it was

down to $699,000.

A week later, it

sold for $761,191.

Two years later, it is back on the market.

They took out the open shelves and stainless steel counter and added new backsplash...

That looks a LOT like the backsplash in my last post at

119 Benson Avenue in Wychwood

...

So, maybe I am alone on not loving it.

But I am loving the new furniture in this house...at least a lot of it.  There is something about it that just makes the whole house feel a lot brighter, and bigger.

The new asking price is $799,900.

With 2 years of compounded interest at 10%, this should be a $920,000 house.

Will it go that high?

Probably.  It shows really well.

And it has a

KitchenAid

mixer...

So, maybe even closer to $945,00.
