PRICE INCREASE - 173 Lawrence Avenue East - LAWRENCE PARK

In August 2014, I posted this 5+1 bedroom, 5 bathroom house on a 50 x 146.83 foot lot at 173 Lawrence Avenue East in Lawrence Park.

It reminded me of Finnigan's Treehouse from Mr. Dressup...

It was listed at $2,188,000.

This was not a $2.2 million house.

It didn't sell and the price was dropped in June 2015 to $2,149,000.

Then it was dropped again in July 2015 to $2,095,000.

Then a week later to $1,995,000...

Which is when I realized that this house also reminded me of the Tiny Tots Family Treehouse...

Well....this house is on the market again (thanks M!).

But it looks like they tried to get rid of the Mr. Dressup/Friendly Giant/Tiny Tots Treehouse vibe and have replaced the fireplace...

And added some funeral flowers and furniture.

But they kept the faux wood look in the backyard and even added this statue...

$2,149,000.

P.S.  In case you are curious, this is what the house USED to look like...
