AND IT WENT FOR - 98 Riverdale Avenue - RIVERDALE
At the beginning of August, I posted
It was a beautiful house on the outside. But though it was grand inside, it was a little underwhelming.
The front hall was amazing and the living room/dining room were more or less what you would expect. But as one reader pointed out, the kitchen/family room looked cramped and the reno, from the pot lights, looked like it was done several decades ago.
And this wasn't a single family home. With a pool in the back, you would think this would be single family.
Instead, the first and second floor were the owner's suite and the third floor and basement were rentals.
And with an initial price tag of $3,200,000 in June, it wasn't surprising that it was on the market for a while.
In mid-July it had a price drop to $2,950,000.
Because of the cost to convert this to a single family home and to make it as amazing as it could be, I thought this would need another price drop.
It did not have a drop but it didn't sell at ask.
But this house still might be a record for the neighbourhood.
