I posted a 3 bedroom, 2 bathroom detached house at 154 Rhodes Avenue...

It was a house that used to look like this...

So it was a huge improvement.

It had been featured in the Globe and Mail the day earlier where they stated that the house was listed at $800,000.  In fact, it was listed at $699,000.  The architect just thought it would SELL for $800,000...mmhmm.

I thought considering the neighbour looked like this...

Even though the neighbourhood was seeing a lot of improvements, that that price might be a little high.

Well, that house is now this house.

It is a 3 bedroom, 3 bathroom semi on a 16.67 x 110 foot lot at 150 Rhodes Avenue in Leslieville.

Other than the odd floor stain, the stairs in the middle of the house, and the metal shower guards in the bathrooms...

And the fact that there is no window and only a skylight in the baby's room (is that to code!?!)...

It is a really good house.

The house next door at 154 Rhodes Avenue that was listed at $699,000 sold for $767,500 (or what would be $1,156,000 today).

Four years later, this house is listed at $979,900.

Considering 60 million people are currently inquiring about moving to Canada...

This will probably sell closer to...

$1,080,000.
