AND IT WENT FOR - 1575 Dundas Street West - LITTLE PORTUGAL

At the end of November, I posted this 3 bedroom, 3 bathroom house on a 15.20 x 159.90 foot lot at 1575 Dundas Street West in Little Portugal.

It was a converted commercial space that was done by Tamira Sawatsky and Elle Flanders, co-owners of the house and of a collaborative art and architecture practice called Public Studio.

It was a great space.  The listing says that it was a duplex and it does have 2 kitchens but they don't seem to be closed off from one another.

It had been listed in 2015 when it was the featured in the Globe and Mail and Dwell magazine.  The asking price was $1,500,000.

Either it didn't sell or Sawatsky and Flanders decided to take it off the market because it came back on the market with the same furniture.

This time, the asking price was $1,798,000.

I didn't think it would sit for long.  It didn't.

This house sold in 6 days...

For $1,900,000.
