201 Westlake Avenue - WOODBINE-LUMSDEN
When I saw the listing for this 2 bedroom, 2 bathroom house on a 25 x 100 foot lot, I thought it was a tidied up version of the house at 54 Avonlea Crescent...
That I posted in December 2013.
But that house was in Crescent Town and this house is located at 201 Westlake Avenue in Woodbine-Lumsden.
When I posted the Crescent Town house, I mentioned that I preferred the cedar to the white siding of its neighbours. But when I see this house, I actually prefer the siding but not in white.
This house looks REALLY good. And so does the inside.
There is a lot of orange happening with the floors, but those could be sanded and stained a light grey or a more natural look which I think would look better with the kitchen.
Speaking of the kitchen, it seems to be IKEA and they did a great job (and a little fyi, if you like those wood looking cabinets, I was at IKEA on the weekend and those cabinets are on a MAJOR discount).
The mudroom area is bright and could either have a stool for taking off shoes or it could become a bar area.
The rooms upstairs area good size with a new bathroom and another new bathroom in the basement.
And there is a great backyard and room to eventually build an extension if need be.
Basically, this is a great house all around and looks like it has been really well looked after.
It is listed at $799,000.
So, while people are betting on if the house at 18 Sunnybrae Crescent on the other side of the city in Mount Dennis will go over it's $799,999 ask...
I'm wondering which of these 2 houses will sell higher.
Even though this is only 2 bedrooms...
I'm thinking this one.
