14 Clinton Place - BICKFORD PARK, TORONTO (2 Comments)
This is a 2+1 bedroom, 1+1 bathroom row house on a 19 x 49 foot lot just south of Bloor Street at 14 Clinton Place in Bickford Park.
It actually backs onto Bloor Street but into businesses and apartments...
Not restaurants.
It isn't a huge house with only 882 squre feet above grade, with a total of 1,323 including the basement, but it feels spacious.
The first floor is opened up with large windows and high ceilings. I love the floors. And though I didn't like the brick at all when I first saw the photos, it is kind of growing on me more and more (even if it reminds me of some retro candy that I can't quite put my finger on). But I suppose that could be painted if it wasn't your thing.
The kitchen is tiny and there isn't a lot of storage but my guess is that a lot of stuff is stored in the hutch on the other side of the stove...
Or in the basement that has a whole wall of storage...
There is no parking but it is a very short walk to the Christie subway station. It's kind of on an alley but it is a good location.
It was last listed in February 2015 when the asking price was $729,000. According to the 'Done Deal' article in the Globe a month later, it had sold with a bully offer in 5 days.
It is now back on the market...
For $1,049,000.
