This is a 5+1 bedroom, 6 bathroom house on a 50 x 178.58 foot lot at 86 Woodlawn Avenue West in the Yonge and St. Clair/Summerhill neighbourhood.

When I first saw the listing at the end of March, I thought it was going fast.

It was a large house that may be a little traditional for some but it was move-in ready and it overlooked the city.

So, despite the high asking price of $5,800,000, this was not sitting.

Then I realized that this house was not on the south side with the amazing city views.  It was on the north side so all of a sudden the things I didn't love like what looks like a super long hallway on the second floor and that green backsplash in the kitchen were a little more annoying.

But it was still on a large lot that could have a pool.  And it was a great house.

It took over a month but this house finally sold...

For (approximately) $5,700,000.
