39 Heath Street West - DEER PARK (1 Comment)
This is a 3 bedroom, 4 bathroom row house with a garage and parking for 4 cars on a 20.67 x 184.38 foot lot at 39 Heath Street West in Deer Park.
According to this article, it was one of 2 houses that were built in 1880 and was first owned by Alfred Hoskin. The third was added in 1981 when architects Peter Gabor and George Popper restored the original buildings. Here is a photo of it in 1981...
And from the looks of the basement bathroom...
And the rest of the bathrooms throughout, parts of this house are still stuck in 1981.
But the majority of this house has been updated and it is very impressive.
I'm pretty sure this house was recently listed in the last year or so but I can't find the listing. But I do remember one of these house being on the market and the inside being totally stuck in the 80s.
And considering that part of this house has been updated but the expensive parts like the washrooms are still in the 80s, I'm guessing it was this house and that this is a flip.
A flip with great furniture, floors, and art like this...
So, maybe not.
Ultimately, this house isn't completely done but what is done is very impressive.
It is listed at $3,895,000.
I don't think it will sit for long and could sell over asking.
