AND IT WENT FOR - 48 Foxley Street - BEACONSFIELD VILLAGE, TORONTO
In August, I posted this 4+1 bedroom, 5 bathroom house with a detached garage on a 20 x 96 foot lot at 48 Foxley Street in Beaconsfield Village in Toronto.
It was a new build (or rebuild?) of a house that used to look like this…
And it was a good house which is why I didn’t get why it wasn’t selling for its $2,685,000 asking price considering the house across the street at 38 Foxley Street that I didn’t like as much had sold for almost $200,000 more than that in February.
Even with all the neighbours looking into the backyard as some readers pointed out, I still didn’t get it.
But apparently it did eventually sell…
For $2,575,000.
Or about $250,000 LESS than the row house that backed onto the back of the Dundas shops at 14 Rolyat Street.
I think this was the deal.
