21 Courtsfield Crescent - HUMBER VALLEY, ETOBICOKE (5 Comments)
This is a 4+1 bedroom, 4 bathroom house on a 60 x 108 foot lot at 21 Courstfield Crescent just east of Royal York in Humber Valley in Etobicoke.
It’s a house that used to look like this…
When it was listed a year ago and was featured in blogTO for selling…
For $400,000 over the $998,000 ask at $1,408,888!!!
Actually, not so much as the price was low to start with. This is a house in a good location, close to the Eglinton LRT, and the layout was good for a renovation as it was (with a few walls to take down).
And the renovation is a good one.
From a quick google search, I discovered the photos of the agent’s own home that was featured on the HGTV website in July…
And it reminded me a lot of this house.
From that article, I discovered that the wife of the agent, Natalie Balen-Cinelli, was a photographer and lifestyle blogger. So, of course I looked for the blog and it is called life made modern. And with more searching, I came across this other website, S P A C E S Collective which turns out to be the her business site with her partner, Julia Salerno.
They are home stagers as well as photographers.
So, not sure if they just staged this house or if they are also the flippers, or maybe it was a flip done by Kate + Amanda Design Studios who seem to have designed this house. Or maybe they all worked on it together.
Whatever happened, it is a great reno with good designe details and good staging. (I couldn’t find the photos so the ones below are from this video but will update photos if I find a link.)
As mentioned, the house sold for $1,408,888 a year ago.
After a full renovation that is bright and works well for a family, this house is now listed at…
$2,249,950.
Or about $250,000 less than I thought it would have been after seeing the photos but it has been on the market for a few weeks with a $139,950 price drop so…
