I don't know what it is about these old houses because they aren't really my style...
But there is just something very charming about them. Sometimes they can be creepy but I find this one charming.
It is a 3+1 bedroom, 4 bathroom house called La Maison Dumas and it was built in 1740.
It is currently set up as a 2 bedroom house with a 1 bedroom unit on the main floo. That unit is currently a 'tourist residence' that sleeps 4 and is for rent on VRBO for $162/night with a minimum 3 night stay.
And it has really good reviews with rave reviews for the owner, Cherie.
But I guess Cherie is moving on because this house is now for sale.
This house that may not be for everyone but I am sure will eventually find someone who loves it and the fact that it is located in the heart of Old Montreal.
But considering it has been listed since at least March maybe you could get it at a slightly lower than the asking price.
This house is listed at $2,295,000.
At that price, they will have to find the person that LOVES it.
