55 Jocelyn Crescent - DON MILLS, TORONTO (7 Comments)

Last week, a reader sent in the listing for this 4 bedroom, 2 bathroom house on a 57 x 160 foot lot in Don Mills, Toronto.

It is a mid-century modern home that has only had 2 owners.  The first was the architect, Henry Fliess who is well known for his architecture in Don Mills and elsewhere.

Here is a Twitter photo taken in June of a Heritage Toronto walking tour that may or might have not included this house, but definitely this house that was also the work of Fliess....

It was on the market for the first time since 1970 in January with these photos...

But if you want the house tour by the second owner 'Gerry' instead of the photos, you can check out this video from that listing...

It's a really charming house that has been really well looked after.

But it didn't sell then and being that it is on such a large lot in Don Mills, I'm not sure it is now being sold as a reno but rather a tear down...which kind of sucks.

This house could be amazing.

But the price is kind of high for the size if you plan to keep the original house and the fact that it will need a lot of work.

The asking price is...

$2,490,000.

Let's hope that someone restores this instead of tearing it down.
