167 Lisgar Street - BEACONSFIELD VILLAGE, TORONTO (1 Comment)

Several weeks ago, this house at 167 Lisgar Street in Beaconsfield Village in Toronto came on the market.

It is a 4+1 bedroom, 5 bathroom, 4,128 total square foot house with a 3 car garage on a 24.67 x 137 foot lot.

It is one of 2 houses designed my Stamp Architecture, the people behind the house at 11 Bannon Avenue...

And it was built by Mattu Building Specialists, the builder behind the house at 140 Crawford Street...

They sit on a lot that used to be these 2 bungalow semis...

For the most part, this is a really, really good house.  It's big, it's bright, it has everything a family would need.  I'm just not crazy about the bathroom tile throughout the house, the kitchen seems like it could have more storage, the 2 kids' bedrooms seem a little small, and I am not a fan of that gravel in the back (but that would be an easy change).

Otherwise, as I said, this is a really good house.

But why has it been on the market for almost 3 weeks?

Probably the price.  This house is listed at...

$3,189,000.

Actually, after watching this video of the house...

I don't know if that asking price is soooo far off.

So, what's the issue?  Maybe $2.9?
