This is a 6+1 bedroom, 7 bathroom house with 5 parking spaces on a 50 x 132 foot lot at 19 Gardiner Road in Forest Hill in Toronto.
It is a house that used to look like this when it was the blogTO House of the Week at the end of 2013…
It was listed at $2,200,000. It apparently sold for $2,010,000 but was then back on the market 4 months later for $2,250,000. Two months after that, it was on the market for $2,195,000.
Despite it apparently never selling, it was back on the market by 2016 when it was posted on Better Dwelling...
It had undergone a full reno and for the most part, it was a done well. The thing that I wasn’t crazy about was the kitchen not looking out to the backyard. There was a lot of potential here to open up the back with big windows and reflect the modern update with modern windows.
The asking price was $3,950,000.
It never sold and it is on the market again…
For $4,299,000.
With the same furniture.
All of which is fine, but I do feel like this house could benefit from some staging especially with the price increase. Also, I would really like to see a floor plan because I can’t figure out what is on the other side of that kitchen facing the back yard.
