AND IT WENT FOR - 52 Argyle Street - TRINITY-BELLWOODS (1 Comment)
It was a full reno of a house that had a good new kitchen and potential for a basement rental or party room in a great location if you wanted to be close to Ossington.
The only problem was that the 2 front bedrooms were really small. The asking price was $2,595,000. Despite the location, for a not very big house with small bedrooms, that seemed like a lot.
It didn’t sell and the price was dropped 2 weeks later to $2,450,000. It was a good drop but I wasn’t sure it would be enough.
It still didn’t sell and the price was just dropped recently to $2,399,000 then $1,999,000.
It finally sold almost 2 weeks ago…
Considering it was purchased in 2014 for $701,000, they may have broken even. But considering there was a lot of attention to detail here like removing and redoing the brick, maybe not.
