This house is kind of amazing.

Other than the kitchen (minus the countertop), it’s not at all what I was expecting from seeing that exterior. I was thinking a modern, updated, traditional house like the house down the street at 106 Warren Road…

Or maybe something like the house at 30 Rosedale Road…

But it’s not exactly that. It’s more, I guess, 1920s art deco with one room straight out of the Titanic.

And while it isn’t exactly my style, it is definitely interesting and a pretty cool house if this is what you are into.

But if it’s not what you are into, when I look over the photos again, there is a lot of traditional left with a modern kitchen and amazing glass doors overlooking the backyard. It’s more those wood walls in the study and family room, and the furniture, that give it the art deco feel. So, there wouldn’t be a huge amount of changes to do if that wasn’t your thing.

It is a 7 bedroom, 7 bathroom, 6,728 square foot above grade house on a 75 x 173 foot lot at 112 Warren Road in Forest Hill.

The asking price is $11,680,000.

I haven’t posted one in a while until this house but…

Is it me or does is seem like there are a LOT of houses for sale in Forest Hill right now?
