In the fall, I posted this 4+1 bedroom, 5 bathroom house with a detached garage on a 35 x 110 foot lot at 30 Whitehall Road in north Rosedale in Toronto.
It was a house that I had first posted when it was listed at $1,795,000 and looked like this…
It didn’t sell right away then and it came back on the market a little over a year later for $1,675,000. It sold a month later for $1,550,000.
Years later and after the renovation, it was back on the market with an asking price of $3,898,000. For the street and the fact that it backed onto the train tracks, I thought the price was a little high and would have been the highest price on the street by far.
The price was dropped after a month to $3,648,000. And after 2 more price drops, this house finally sold…
For $3,150,000.
Not quite ask but still a record for the street.
