281 Brunswick Avenue - HARBORD VILLAGE, TORONTO (3 Comments)
This is a 2 bedroom, 2 bathroom house with 1 parking spot on a 17.58 x 119.1 foot lot at 281 Brunswick Avenue in Harbord Village in Toronto.
It is a house that used to look like this…
In 2010, it was expanded by Diamond and Schmitt Architects and it kind of reminds me of the house at 57 Hocken Avenue in Wychwood…
Except that house seemed to have been designed for maximum privacy at the front and this house is more of a fishbowl at night…
And the Hocken house had a more recent reno.
This house is more than fine in its design. But if you did want to update it (and maybe open that kitchen), you could hire the architect Kyra Clarkson of MODERNest (and I think owner) of the house a few doors down at 287 Brunswick Avenue that looks like this…
She was also that architect of the house I at 154 Rhodes Avenue in Leslieville that was one of my early posts…
Or you could hire StudioAC who designed the Annex Hotel across the street…
Both styles would look good here.
Or you could just leave the house as is (but I would still want to open up that kitchen).
The asking price is…
$1,795,000.
