40- 1444 Dupont Street - JUNCTION TRIANGLE, TORONTO
When I saw this photo on an Instagram post…
I thought this was an interior shot of a doll house (just me?).
I seriously thought it was a loft version of the 70s doll house from Mini Modern House by Annie Kampfe and Cliff Donnelly that became semi famous a few months ago. Here is a link to some photos taken by their son…
But this is not a doll house.
And it is also not a commercial listing though it is in a commercial building (but located across from a row of semis).
This is a 3 bedroom, 2 bathroom loft with 2 parking spots at 40-1444 Dupont Street in Junction Triangle in Toronto.
It is the home of photographer, Matt Barnes, whose own work is all over the walls . He has also done shoots with the cast of Schitt’s Creek...
Among many others. And he definitely has a distinct style which shows in this apartment.
From the pillows on the couch, and the Instagram post that made me think this was a doll house, there is clearly some staging happening here. But I don’t know if it was staged top to bottom or if the majority of the furniture was here to begin with.
Either way, it shows really well and is a really fun space if you are okay with the 2 smaller bedrooms being accessed through the primary bedroom. Not to mention it is in a commercial complex.
But if you are more into the space than those 2 quirks, this is a great space in a good location.
The asking price is $1,590,000 with monthly fees of $552.68.
Which is a lot for a doll house.
But not a lot at $625/square foot.
