7 Wellesley Place - UPPER JARVIS, TORONTO
This is a 5 bedroom, 5 bathroom house at 7 Wellesley Place in the Upper Jarvis neighbourhood in Toronto.
The first thing I thought of when I saw the living room was of the house at 424 Euclid Road…
And how like that house, this house was giving me a bit of British designer, Sera of London vibes.

In 2013, this house was listed for sale for $2,000,000 when it looked like this…
I’m not sure if it was a private home at the time but it is one of the large, old family homes that used to be everywhere in the area 100 years ago.
Since 2013, it has been updated to a single family home (with a 3rd floor apartment/studio I think).
In 2020, it was leased for $12,000/month.
This house is now For Lease again but this time the asking price is...
$20,000/month.
I’m guessing the update happened after 2020 otherwise that is a BIG increase.
P.S. Looks like they forgot to add a spice drawer when they did the kitchen…
