181 Concord Avenue - DUFFERIN GROVE, TORONTO

This is a 5 bedroom, 3 bathroom semi with a 2 car garage on a 17 x 130 foot lot at 181 Concord Avenue in Dufferin Grove in Toronto.

It is a house that looked like this when it was last on the market in 2016…

It was listed at $1,099,900 and sold for $1,451,500.

It was then fully renovated with a mix of modern and original features and they did a really good job.. According to the listing, it is a designer’s own home done by Jaclyn Genovese of Spaces by Jakflash who has been featured in Architectural Digest, MyDomain, multiple features in The Globe and Mail, and in Toronto Life (but those last 2 are from her fashion days from what I can see).

From the floor plan, it indicated that the primary bedroom is on the third floor…

But if you don’t need 5 bedrooms, I would make the bedroom on the second floor the primary bedroom, with that bedroom at the front as the closet. It could double as a nursery or it could be an office.

Or, if you wanted more storage, you could add more closets on the other wall and perhaps an island in the middle.

And then this house is still a 4 bedroom house with a large primary bedroom.

On top of the full renovation, they have also added a 2 car garage that is currently being used as a gym.

Overall, it is well done renovation that is family friendly with what could be a great primary suite, a nice yard, and a garage.

It is now on the market and the asking price is…

$2,395,000.

I don’t think this will sit for long.
